Game Console Hardware
Here is the list I ordered from GameRoom Solutions and other providers
Game parts
- (1) Track Ball 2 inch Arcade Game Trackball for PC or MAC - USB and PS2 Connectors 1
- (1) HDMI Extender
- (2) Joysticks
- (9) Green buttons - The standard 8, plus the game select button
- (8) Blue buttons - Standard 8 buttons
- (2) Yellow buttons - Game select, etc.
- (1) Red button - Game select, etc. ←- Mistake, should have ordered 2 green
- (1) HDMI extender
Compute
- (1) Raspberri Pi4 (repurpose an existing one I had)
- (1) Micro USB to HDMI converter
Console
- (1) 4'x 2' MDF Board (Lowes)
- (1) 4'x 2' 1/2“ board (for bottom of the console - also Lowes)
- (1) 3'x 2' 1/8” Plexiglass (Amazon)
- (2) Inside brackets for support (Lowes)
- (1) 10' Rubber edge corner trim, 'L' shape in red. (Amazon)
- (1) Neoprene rubber sheet- for base. 1/8“ thick 16”x30“
Misc. Electronics
I wanted a toggle switch on/off the unit and another to turn on/off button lights.
- Two toggle switches
- 5v power source (at least 3A, to power the Pi)
- 12v power source (to power the lights, which are 12v)
- (1) green LED
- (1) 240 ohm resistor (for LED light, which is 3.3v)
Temporary electronic requirements
- USB Keyboard (used for setting up games)
- Network connectivity
