Downloading

To download the shapefile for the IPEDS data of locations of Universities in the US:
https://data.opendatasoft.com/explore/dataset/us-colleges-and-universities%40public/information/?flg=en-us&utm_source=chatgpt.com
Click “Export” tab
Click the “CSV” file as the “shp” file was malformed

Importing CSV File

Layer → Add Layer → Add Delimited Text Layer Use the following options:
